Year of the Tiger?

Today at the zoo we practically high-fived a tiger. 

It was awesome.

I hoped that 2012 was the Year of the Tiger.

I figured getting some face-time with a real tiger the first week of the New Year would be a good omen.

But alas 2012 is the Year of the Dragon.

Which is also fitting because I've been feeling like I want this year to be especially mystical for me.

Adam was born in the Year of the Tiger (2010.)

Nic and I are Rats.

Ruby's a monkey.

And Scarlie a Rooster. 

We're practically a family zoo.
